De lobby van de Zuidas blokkeert klimaatbeleid, wij blokkeren de Zuidas. Op 18 en 21 september voeren we coronaproof actie in Amsterdam. (English below)

Droogtes, bosbranden, overstromingen en smeltende gletsjers zijn slechts het begin. De klimaat- en ecologische crisis is hier en nu en haar gevolgen worden steeds zichtbaarder. Zolang grote bedrijven hun invloed op de politiek behouden gaat de politiek nooit serieus de klimaat- en ecologische crisis bestrijden. Daarom komen we in opstand en eisen een burgerberaad voor een eerlijk klimaatbeleid.

Alle acties en programmering zijn coronaproof. Dit betekent vooralsnog dat we op 1,5 meter afstand blijven en iedereen vragen een mondkapje te dragen. Meer details volgen.

Legale demo op 18 september: Kom naar de eerste grote klimaatdemonstratie sinds het begin van de coronacrisis. Van 10 tot 12 op het Gustav Mahlerplein. Terwijl gewone mensen steeds meer vergroenen blijven grote bedrijven vervuilen! In het zakelijk hart van Nederland laten we zien hoe grote bedrijven noodzakelijk en eerlijk klimaatbeleid tegenhouden. Geen lobi voor de lobby!

Blokkade op de Zuidas op 18 september: Enkele uren na de legale demonstratie organiseren we massadisruptie door een blokkade op de Zuidas. Want als grote bedrijven klimaatbeleid blokkeren blokkeren wij die bedrijven! Meld je (met je affiniteitsgroep) aan op de website om voor de actie meer informatie te ontvangen.

Legale manifestatie 18 – 21 september: Op het Museumplein hebben we een inspirerend programma voor jong en oud! Met muziek en trainingen, spel en serieuze lezingen, kunst en regeneratieve activiteiten voor na het actievoeren laten we zien waar Extinction Rebellion voor staat. Het grootste deel van het programma is op de zaterdag en zondag. Het programma is zowel een goede eerste kennismaking met Extinction Rebellion als een manier voor ervaren rebellen om zich te verdiepen. We zijn nog in overleg met de gemeente over de veiligste manier en plek voor een coronaproof kampeerplaats voor deelnemers aan de Septemberrebellie. Meld je aan op de website om hierover op de hoogte te worden gebracht.

Disruptieve actie op de Zuidas op 21 september: We sluiten de Septemberrebellie af met een massale disruptieve actie op de Zuidas. Meer informatie delen we tijdens het weekend. Meld je (met je affiniteitsgroep) aan op de website om op de hoogte te blijven.

Big business is blocking just and necessary climate policies, so we’re blocking big business. From the 18th till the 21st of September we will have coronaproof actions in the financial heart of the Netherlands, the Zuidas in Amsterdam.

Droughts, forest fires, floods and melting glaciers are just the beginning. The climate and ecological crisis is here and now and its consequences are becoming more and more visible. As long as large companies keep their influence on politics, politics will never seriously fight the climate and ecological crisis. That is why we rise up and demand a Citizen’s Assembly for a just climate policy.

All actions and programming are coronaproof. For the time being, this means that we social distance according to the guidelines and ask everyone to bring a facemask. More details will follow.

Legal demo on September 18th: Come to the first major climate demonstration since the beginning of the corona crisis. From 10 to 12 on the Gustav Mahler Square. In the financial heart of the Netherlands we show how large companies are holding back necessary and just climate policies. No lobi for the lobby!

Blockade on the Zuidas on September 18th: A few hours after the legal demonstration, we organize mass disruption through means of a coronaproof blockade of the Zuidas. Legal manifestation 18 - 21 September: On the Museumplein we have an inspiring program for young and old! With music and trainings, games and serious speeches, art and regenerative activities, we show what Extinction Rebellion stands for. Most of the program is on Saturday and Sunday. If you’re new, come and learn about our movement, if you’re already a seasoned rebel, come as well and deepen your knowledge! We are still in consultation with the muicipality about the safest way and place for a coronaproof camp site for participants in the September Rebellion.
