Dutch Caribbean Research Week

The Dutch Caribbean Research Week (DCRW) is a free annual multiday conference aimed at providing a platform to bring researchers from the Caribbean science community together. The conference provides an opportunity to network and stimulate the connections between the six islands of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and between the Caribbean and European part of the Kingdom. DCRW is not only meant to discuss ongoing and new developments in the field, but should also inspire participants and open up opportunities for collaborations. The target group is therefore very broad and varies from social sciences and humanities to natural and medical sciences. In this year’s edition each day has a theme, please find them listed below.

DCRW 2023 will be held online, in order to provide access for as many interested people as possible within and outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We are hoping that the event will have around 200 participants. Due to the time difference the five-day conference will take place in the morning for the Caribbean region and in the afternoon for the Netherlands.
